Careerscape is recruiting for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our Chicago team on a hybrid basis. You will lead end-to-end IT initiatives, translating business requirements into actionable plans and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on scope, budget, and timeline.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in IT/Business and 5+ years in IT project management. PMP certification preferred; strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools like MS

• Strong working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with global or distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through closeout.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and vendors.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies proactively.
• Facilitate status meetings, steering committee updates, and stakeholder reviews.
• Manage project scope and change control processes.
• Track and report on project KPIs, milestones, and financial performance.
• Ensure projects adhere to internal governance and quality standards.
• Support resource planning and allocation across concurrent initiatives.
• Drive post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned.

This is an opportunity to lead high-visibility technology initiatives for a firm with an international footprint, partnering with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver projects that directly support enterprise growth and operational excellence.

Day to day, you will juggle multiple concurrent workstreams, translate business requirements into actionable project plans, and keep a mix of technical and non-technical stakeholders aligned on scope, budget, and timeline. COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $125,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
