Job summary

Jefferson Health Plans is seeking an IT Project Manager to plan and oversee technical initiatives ensuring timely completion within budget. You will organize resources, advise on scope changes, and provide leadership to meet strategic priorities in a healthcare setting.

The role requires strong project management experience, the ability to coordinate teams, manage risk, and deliver with quality. Work includes DR testing coordination and go-live logistics across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree information Sciences and Technology or Information Management or related fields.
• 7 years preferred work experience or High School Diploma/GED with 7 years of experience.
• 5 years progressive experience in information technology, healthcare or business project management related fields.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Identifies complex business problems, environments, objectives, and aligns with organizational strategies.
• Establishes project goals and develops plans to meet those goals.
• Maintains project timeframes, budgeting estimates and expected status reports.
• Manages specifications and updates of project workplans for small to medium complexities.
• Uses project management methodologies to track performance, schedule adherence and risk assessments.
• Coordinates project team members and develops schedules and assigns responsibilities.
• Implements strategies that deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Organizes meetings to discuss goals and progress to minimize scope deviation.
• Monitors disaster recovery procedures development and testing.
• Coordinates project go-live logistics.
