Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an IT Project Manager I to provide project coordination and junior PM support for IT initiatives. You will work with project managers, IT leaders, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure planning, tracking, and execution are organized and effective.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, disciplined follow-through, and coordinating multiple workstreams, meetings, and training activities across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of IT project coordination or related role experience.
• Experience supporting technology projects with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; able to draft professional business communications.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Proficient in facilitating meetings, coordinating stakeholders, and producing status reports.
• Demonstrated judgment in identifying risks and escalating issues as needed.
• Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery models.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; PM certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT projects from planning through implementation and closure under supervision.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, logs, and key documentation.
• Monitor tasks, follow up with owners, and resolve blockers for timely completion.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings with notes and action items.
• Prepare clear status updates, announcements, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate across IT teams, business partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Provide accurate reporting on progress, milestones, risks, and decisions.
• Escalate schedule risks or resource constraints to the project manager.
• Coordinate internal IT training activities and post-training follow-up.
• Support change management and deployment readiness activities.
