Akkodis is seeking an IT Project Manager for a 12+ Months Contract role with a direct client in San Antonio, TX. We are looking for an Ideal IT Technical Project Manager with 5+ years of infrastructure‑focused experience, a proven track record of delivering enterprise‑level initiatives, strong proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams while managing full SDLC execution, with full commitment to an onsite role in San Antonio.

Pay Range: $50.00/hour - $55.00/hour on W2 without benefits (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an Experienced IT Technical Project Manager with 5+ years of infrastructure‑focused project management experience. This individual must bring a proven record of delivering enterprise‑level technology initiatives using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will be technically adept, highly organized, and capable of quickly integrating into fast‑paced workstreams.

This role requires managing full SDLC projects, coordinating with business and technical teams, and ensuring delivery on scope, timelines, and budget. Excellent communication, cross‑functional leadership, and risk/issue management skills are essential.

This is an on‑site 4 days / 1 day remote role in San Antonio location.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage multiple enterprise‑level IT projects simultaneously.
Utilize both Waterfall and Agile methodologies as appropriate for each initiative.
Drive full project lifecycle execution including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
Manage cross‑functional project teams including technical resources, business SMEs, and vendors.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and change management processes.
Prepare detailed project documentation, roadmaps, dashboards, and communications.
Act as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Ensure projects meet defined delivery expectations across scope, quality, and timelines.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years IT Project Management experience, with a focus on infrastructure—non‑negotiable.
Hands‑on experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Strong understanding of technical concepts and IT infrastructure domains.
Proven ability to manage complex cross‑functional teams.
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work fully onsite in San Antonio, TX.
