G-III Apparel Group is seeking an experienced Director of IT Project Management to lead program and portfolio governance for the technology organization, aligning initiatives with business strategy across a global retail and digital environment.

The ideal candidate has extensive enterprise program leadership, PMO development, and experience driving transformation across diverse brands and regions. This role requires on-site leadership in New York and a strategic, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Business or related field.
• 12+ years leading complex enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience directing global multi-workstream portfolios across brands/regions.
• Strong M&A tech integration, TSA transitions, and post go-live stabilization.
• Experience with Dynamics 365, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, MuleSoft, Shopify, OMS, PIM, DAM, APIs.
• Excellent executive communication and strategic translating to roadmaps.
• PMP or PgMP preferred; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology portfolio governance, prioritization, and stage-gate processes with executive oversight.
• Chair Steering Committees and provide concise reporting on budgets, risks, and outcomes.
• Oversee integrated planning across enterprise tech initiatives and multiple platforms.
• Manage budget governance, forecasting, and vendor transitions at portfolio level.
• Mentor Project Managers and external program resources.
• Establish PMO standards, templates, RAID/logs, and executive escalation.
• Translate strategy into executable roadmaps with clear ownership and metrics.
• Ensure change management, training, adoption, and post-implementation support.
• Oversee SOWs and performance of strategic systems integrators and vendors.
• Ensure SOX, SDLC, PCI, cybersecurity, and governance compliance.
• Leverage AI-enabled PM tools to improve planning and risk management.
