Job summary

Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a Program Manager to lead contract support operations and projects across multiple locations. The role requires extensive experience in IT program leadership, acquisition processes, and strong communication with stakeholders.

The position emphasizes coordinating personnel, managing deliverables, and adapting management structures to ensure contract performance while guiding teams through end-to-end system development and implementation.

Qualifications

• At least five years of program management experience.
• At least ten years of leadership experience in IT and/or consulting.
• Experience with IT acquisition processes and milestones.
• Experience analyzing source documentation and supporting acquisition documentation.
• PM certification (PMP) or recognized equivalent; explanations needed for substitutions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day contract support operations across multiple projects, teams, and locations.
• Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and production of all contract support activities.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through analysis, design, integration, testing, documentation, conversion, extension, and implementation of automated information and telecommunications systems.
• Set priorities, assign work, monitor progress, address risks and issues, and maintain accountability for contract deliverables.
• Establish and adjust the management structure, staffing, and reporting relationships to support contract execution.
• Communicate plans, status, decisions, and issues clearly in writing and in meetings and briefings.
• Support IT acquisition activities by assessing source documentation and helping prepare acquisition documentation aligned with process milestones.
