Job summary

Optomi in partnership with a leading enterprise organization seeks a Program Manager to support IT Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures within Finance Technology. The role leads Finance technology activities from signing through close, including system readiness, integration and separation planning, risk management, and TSA considerations.

The ideal candidate has strong M&A experience, Finance technology knowledge, and SAP expertise, with proven program management and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives in M&A and divestitures.
• Direct experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, or carve-outs.
• Strong Finance technology knowledge with enterprise financial systems and processes.
• SAP experience, ideally supporting Finance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the IT Finance lead for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic transactions.
• Lead Finance technology planning and execution from transaction signing through close.
• Manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and critical-path deliverables.
• Coordinate Finance system readiness across SAP/ERP, GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and Financial Reporting.
• Lead Day 1 readiness, cutover planning, integration, and separation activities.
• Support Transition Service Agreement (TSA) planning and exit objectives.
• Drive resolution of cross-functional risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate executive governance meetings and provide clear status reporting.
• Develop and maintain transaction playbooks, documentation, and governance processes.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary IT representative supporting Finance throughout mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. This individual will lead Finance technology activities from transaction signing through close, including financial systems readiness, integration and separation planning, risk management, and transition services. The ideal candidate will bring strong M&A experience, Finance technology knowledge, program management expertise, and SAP experience.

• Experience with TSA planning, financial controls, SOX, or other enterprise Finance platforms is a plus
