Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to oversee multiple complex technology programs from initiation through delivery in Marlborough, MA. You will ensure on-time, on-budget results with strong governance and cross-team coordination.

You will develop integrated delivery plans, manage budgets, and provide executive-level reporting while guiding project managers and cross-functional teams to maintain milestone timing and value delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Technology project and program management, with demonstrated success managing multiple large-scale initiatives concurrently.
• Experience managing large, complex enterprise technology programs involving multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.
• Experience executing large-scale implementations using agile, waterfall, and/or hybrid methodologies, with strong emphasis on execution discipline and milestone control.
• Demonstrated ability to build business cases, manage multimillion-dollar budgets, and maintain financial control across concurrent programs.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate status, risks, and trade-offs clearly and concisely.
• Experience managing interdependencies across programs and resolving resource or priority conflicts.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering initiatives on schedule in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
• Bachelor’s degree required; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of multiple concurrent, complex technology initiatives, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of defined business outcomes.
• Develop and manage integrated delivery plans, roadmaps, and execution frameworks to coordinate cross-functional workstreams across BJ’s.
• Oversee project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution standards, milestone adherence, and accountability.
• Manage resources across initiatives, proactively addressing capacity constraints, priority conflicts, and interdependencies.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as needed.
• Enforce standardized governance processes, documentation, and compliance requirements across all programs.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery performance and operational rigor.
• Provide structured, executive-level reporting across initiatives, including status, financials, risks, dependencies, and milestone tracking.
• Own program financials across multiple initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Partner with Finance on annual planning and ongoing monthly reviews to ensure disciplined spend management.
• Proactively manage cost, schedule, and scope trade-offs to protect value delivery.
