Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking an IT Program Manager in Winona, MN to translate business needs into technology solutions within financial processes, systems, and reporting.

You will lead programs, develop roadmaps, and guide solutions from planning through execution and ongoing enhancement. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in business analysis or related IT, with at least 18 months of program ownership, and strong communication skills to work with stakeholders across IT and finance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business analysis or related IT work experience.
• At least 18 months of program ownership or leadership experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with computer systems and software.
• Experience creating documentation for systems or applications, including process mapping and analysis.
• Highly motivated, self-directed and customer-service oriented.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and urgency.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Creating and designing new product road maps while maintaining documentation.
• Providing leadership to project prioritization and business architecture efforts.
• Collaborating with end users and stakeholders to determine business objectives.
• Mentoring delivery teams and ensuring SDLC adherence.
• Acting as product stakeholder to other delivery teams and presenting efforts to leaders.
• Providing domain and technical acumen on large/complex projects.
• Influencing diverse audiences including IT BAs, business stakeholders, end users, and other teams.
• Overseeing a team of direct reports.
