Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Full-time Accounts Payable Support in Winona, MN to process supplier invoices for inventory purchases across branches, purchasing groups, and manufacturing centers. You will resolve three-way matching issues, communicate with suppliers, and support purchasing groups while maintaining accuracy.

Onboarding and performance goals may lead to a flexible schedule. The role emphasizes attention to detail, timely responses, and collaboration with the Accounts/Finance team.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a specific group of supplier relationships and their invoices
• Monitoring match exception errors related to supplier invoices
• Scanning verification of electronic invoices
• Processing credits to suppliers
• Reviewing and updating supplier statements
