UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an IT Program Manager to lead a team of IT Project Managers and deliver an integrated program roadmap. You will coordinate cross-project planning, manage interdependencies, and guide decision-making across scope, cost, and risk.

The role sits in the Program and Project Delivery pillar; you will partner with the IT Portfolio Manager and own program execution, developing the PM team and coordinating with workstream leads in a matrix environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 10 years in technology project teams; at least 7 years managing medium IT projects.
• Equivalent related experience may be used in lieu of degree.
• PMP Certification preferred upon hire.

Aufgaben

• Manage multiple related projects within the project portfolio toward strategic objectives.
• Supervise Project Managers to monitor cost, schedules, and alignment with business goals.
• Liaise with stakeholders and manage customer relationships; set project expectations.
• Oversee project quality and budget proposals; adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with department managers to secure personnel and resources.
• Develop status reports and contingency plans for scope changes.
• Build essential business relationships to support project success.
• Develop best practices and tools for multi-armed projects.
