Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior IT leader to drive strategy and execution across IT programs for a Space Systems unit. You will serve as a CIDO ambassador to leadership, users, and programs, ensuring IT services align with strategic objectives and investments.

You will coordinate with directors and end users to plan, implement, and sustain IT solutions while maintaining strong security posture and high customer satisfaction. A TS Clearance with SCI eligibility and Polygraph may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 6 years of IT experience or equivalent.
• Experience managing projects, budgets, and schedules is required.
• 5 years of MS Office Suite experience: Word, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.
• Must have a TS clearance with SCI access eligibility.
• Polygraph as a condition of continued employment may be required.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead IT strategy and execution of IT projects for the business unit
• Act as the CIDO ambassador to programs and business leadership, functional organizations, and end-customers (users)
• Maximize alignment of program IT services with the Space Systems CIDO sector operating models, strategies, business objectives, and investments
• Coordinate with directorate business leadership, homeroom managers, and end user groups to identify, plan, implement, and sustain IT solutions
• Liaison between facilities and security to drive optimal IT service environments for SSD sites
• Monitor customer satisfaction with IT service delivery and engage CIDO resources as required to meet and exceed IT service level objectives

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant IT experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant IT experience; OR an Associates degree with 10 years of relevant IT experience; OR a minimum of 12 total years of relevant IT experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
• Experience managing projects, budgets, and schedules is required
• 5 years of experience using MS Office Suite tools: Word, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel
• Must have a current US Government Top Secret level security clearance to include SCI access level eligibility
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph as a condition of continued employment
