Job summary

Howard County Government is seeking a PM Team Lead to establish policies for effective management of complex IT and business initiatives. You will supervise the PMO, manage enterprise projects, and ensure governance aligns with CIO/Deputy CIO priorities.

You will lead ITIL implementation, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive successful delivery from planning through post-implementation support. A hybrid schedule may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and six years related experience or equivalent combination.
• ITIL Expert Certification preferred; PM certifications a plus.
• Experience leading large-scale IT projects and enterprise initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Program Management Office and supervise Project Managers and Trainers.
• Oversee ITIL planning, governance, and deployment for DTCS and related programs.
• Develop project plans, charters, risk and communication plans, and ensure on-time delivery.
