Job summary

Randa Apparel & Accessories is seeking an IT Product/Project Management Intern in Chicago for a 10-week program. The role emphasizes software engineering projects, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on experience in designing and maintaining software solutions to support business operations.

You will work with IT SMEs to enhance systems, learn lifecycle practices, testing methods, and deployment strategies, and present outcomes in the final week with a mentor. On-site schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
• On-site availability, Monday–Friday.
• Able to commit to the full 10-week duration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems to support business operations across various departments.
• Identify and define system security requirements.
• Gather and define technical requirements for new software features and system enhancements.
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
• Configure, test, and debug software components and integrations, resolving issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
• Monitor application performance and system logs to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
• Document technical findings, development outcomes, and recommendations for future improvements and optimizations.
