Job summary

Randa Apparel & Accessories (RAA) invites a Design Intern to join the Chicago design division for a 10-week program. You will assist the Design & Merchandising teams and gain exposure to retail and wholesale fundamentals in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will work on designs that fit seasonal concepts, prepare tech packs, and coordinate with overseas vendors while learning from mentors across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
• Majors in Fashion Design, Merchandising or Marketing are a plus.
• On-site availability Monday to Friday for 10 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist design team with seasonal concepts and brand visions.
• Collaborate with merchants to build assortments and respond to trends.
• Provide technical details to overseas vendors for sample development.
• Produce sketches and present proposed designs to stakeholders.
• Create and manage tech packs and communicate with vendors.
