Job summary

Mondo is seeking an IT Procurement & Category Manager to oversee software and hardware procurement, negotiate with suppliers, and optimize IT spend on a global scale. This contract role supports cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement with business goals and budget needs.

You will manage category strategies, drive RFP processes, and maintain supplier relationships to ensure performance and compliance. Remote/hybrid work within the United States is available.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of procurement or category management experience.
• Experience managing software and/or hardware procurement categories.
• Strong negotiation, RFP, and spend-management background.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating software contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage software and hardware procurement categories, including contract review, negotiation, and renewals.
• Conduct utilization analysis and spend management activities to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Lead supplier negotiations and facilitate RFP processes to secure favorable terms for the organization.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Risk, Security, Privacy, PMO) to align procurement with business needs.
• Translate business requirements into sourcing strategies and category management plans.
• Support and maintain supplier relationships to ensure performance and compliance.
