Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Project Manager for its HIS PMO on Broadmoor Campus. This role manages IT projects from initiation through deployment, coordinating across business owners, technical teams, and vendors while maintaining schedules, budgets, and requirements.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of PM experience, a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and PMP certification (preferred). Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Office, and Visio is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of small and medium IT projects from initiation to deployment.
• Facilitate discussions across disciplines and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities with business owners, cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Create and manage project plans, risks, issues, budgets, and documentation.
• Define objectives and deliverables with PMO processes and best practices.
• Maintain project schedule and manage scope changes through formal processes.
• Provide regular status updates to management up to Director level.
