Job summary

PACCAR's Information Technology Division in Renton, WA, seeks an IT PMO Manager to establish and continuously improve project management practices across the IT organization. This role drives consistent delivery, ensures alignment with business objectives, and optimizes resource utilization.

The PMO Manager oversees the IT project portfolio, standardizes processes, and enables successful execution of strategic initiatives through governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Business Administration.
• 8+ years IT project/program management or leadership experience.
• 2+ years capital budget management experience.
• Demonstrated success managing large, complex IT portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Establish PMO frameworks, governance structures, and methodologies across IT.
• Oversee portfolio planning, prioritization, and execution of IT initiatives.
• Provide executive visibility into portfolio performance with dashboards and KPIs.
• Partner with IT leadership and stakeholders; facilitate governance forums.
• Lead resource planning, forecasting, and capacity management with leaders.
• Support PMs with tools, templates, and coaching; mitigate risks.
• Mentor PMs and PMO analysts; foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee PMO tools (MS Project, Project Center, Azure DevOps) adoption.
• Drive PMO maturity assessments and scalable project management capabilities.
