Job summary

PACCAR IT is seeking an experienced PMO Manager in Renton, WA to establish and govern IT project management practices, ensuring alignment with business objectives and optimal resource use.

You will oversee the IT project portfolio, standardize processes, and enable successful execution through strong governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. This role drives maturity across the PMO and requires leadership and strategic insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years in IT project/program management or leadership roles.
• 2+ years of capital budget management experience.
• Experience managing large, complex IT portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain PMO frameworks, governance structures, and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Oversee portfolio planning, prioritization, and execution; monitor health, risks, and resources.
• Provide executive-level visibility via dashboards, KPIs, OKRs, and reports.
• Partner with IT leadership and stakeholders; facilitate governance forums.
• Lead resource planning and utilization across projects.
• Support PMs with tools, templates, and coaching; mitigate risks.
• Mentor PMs and PMO analysts; foster accountability.
• Oversee PMO tools adoption (MS Project, Project Center, Azure DevOps).
• Drive PMO maturity and continuous improvement.
