Job summary

Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) is seeking an IT Program Delivery PMO Director to provide strategic leadership for MnDOT IT investments and portfolio delivery. The role drives governance, budgeting, and enterprise delivery excellence, reporting to the CBTO and partnering with executive leadership.

The role oversees enterprise IT services, portfolio management, and delivery assurance, with onsite work at 395 John Ireland Blvd, St. Paul, MN, and limited telework options.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years in a Program and Portfolio Management leadership role.
• Experience leading an IT PMO or enterprise IT governance and delivery.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar IT budgets.
• Experience developing staffing plans, workforce planning, and team performance.
• Experience advising executive leadership on strategic IT decisions.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and change leadership.
• Customer-focused with active listening and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MnDOT IT program and product portfolio with enterprise scope.
• Drive portfolio strategy, governance, and investment advisory.
• Deliver and sustain IT investments to maximize business value.
• Lead IT PMO functions including reporting, QA, Agile, and product practices.
• Manage PMO training budgets, Odyssey funding, and modernization efforts.
