Job summary

Jobtailor in Cincinnati is seeking an Information Technology Physician Liaison to partner with providers to optimize EHR and clinical technologies. You will deliver Epic clinical training and support so clinicians understand the application in depth and can use it effectively.

You will advocate transformations that increase clinical value, troubleshoot IT systems, and translate clinical needs into practical technology solutions, while maintaining strong collaboration with leadership and staff.

Qualifications

• Entry level clinical degree required (RN, PT, OT, ST, etc.)
• 1 year minimum clinical/education experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows across inpatient and/or ambulatory settings
• Ability to translate clinical needs into technology solutions
• Experience with or ability to learn Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Experience with or ability to learn Ticketing and issue management systems
• Experience with or ability to learn Clinical communication and secure messaging tools
• Experience with or ability to learn Speech recognition / voice-to-text solutions
• Experience with or ability to learn Ambient documentation technologies
• Experience with or ability to learn Generative artificial intelligence
• Experience with or ability to learn Clinical decision support and analytics tools
• Experience with or ability to learn Scheduling and call routing / dialing systems
• Experience with or ability to learn Remote support tools and virtual support workflows
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability
• Clear, concise communication with clinicians and leadership
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple requests simultaneously
• Ability to build trust with providers and staff
• Skilled in teaching, coaching, and influencing behavior change
• Comfortable supporting clinicians with varying levels of technical proficiency.

Job description

• The Information Technology Physician Liaison is a subject matter expert working with providers to optimize use of electronic health record (EHR) and other clinical technologies.
• Providing ongoing and just-in-time Epic clinical training and associated support so that clinicians have a detailed understanding of the application.
• Advocating system changes that enhance clinical usage, provide business value and align with TCHHN goals.
• Triaging, troubleshooting and problem resolution for the IT systems.
• Assessing and evaluating incoming provider calls, taking prompt action to resolve the issue.
