Job summary

ProMedica is seeking an IT Epic Pharmacy Analyst III to plan, design, develop, train, implement, and support pharmacy IT applications. You will mentor IT staff and help review their work while contributing to project success within a remote Ohio context.

The role requires Pharm D or a pharmacy degree, Epic Willow certifications, and 5–7 years in pharmacy informatics or healthcare IT. Per diem status includes a comprehensive benefits package and state-specific eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Pharm D or Bachelor-level pharmacy degree required.
  • Exceptional knowledge of clinical software applications and healthcare operations.
  • 5–7 years of pharmacy informatics or healthcare IT experience; Epic analyst exp over 3 years.
  • Registered Pharmacist and Epic Willow certification within required timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, develop, train and implement functionality for assigned applications.
  • Provide mentorship and review work of IT staff in projects.
  • Support and evaluate existing or new healthcare IT solutions.
  • Communicate project progress and align with clinical operations.

Job Summary:

As the IT Epic Pharmacy Analyst III, you participate in planning, designing, developing, training, implementing, communicating, supporting and evaluating existing or new functionality related to assigned applications.

In this role, you will serve as a mentor for IT staff and help and review their work as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Pharm D degree or bachelor's degree in pharmacy
  • Exceptional knowledge of assigned clinical software applications and healthcare operations
  • Healthcare information technology experience
  • 5-7 years of pharmacy practice, informatics, or healthcare IT experience. Over 3 years' Epic analyst experience.
  • Registered Pharmacist
  • Outpatient Analyst will have or obtain Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification in their primary application within three months of completing the first Epic class. Inpatient Analyst will have or obtain Epic Willow Inpatient Certification in their primary application within three months of completing the first Epic class. Obtaining and maintenance of Epic Certification in the primary application is a mandatory job requirement. Obtaining and maintenance of a secondary or supporting Epic Certification will be at the discretion of leadership. Certification may be required upon hire if deemed necessary by leadership based on business needs.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • IT background
  • Project management and leadership experience
  • 7+ years of pharmacy practice, informatics, or healthcare IT experience. Over 5 years' Epic analyst experience. Experience leading large implementations or system optimization initiatives.
  • Multiple Epic Certifications out of Epic Willow Ambulatory, Epic Willow Inpatient, Epic Compass Rose Specialty Pharmacy, and Epic Willow Inventory

Salary Range - $104,000-171,392

This is a remote position; however, employment is limited to residents of certain U.S. states due to legal, tax, and regulatory requirements. Eligibility is based on applicant's primary residence at time of hire.
