Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Retail Pharmacist to deliver comprehensive pharmacy services, including dispensing, drug information, and therapy monitoring. You will supervise support staff within the Pharmacy Department and educate patients, families, and providers while upholding ProMedica's Mission and Values.

The role requires a BS Pharm or PharmD and an active license in the practice state(s). The position is full-time with a typical 40-hour workweek and day shifts, located in ProMedica Specialty

Job Summary

The Retail Pharmacist provides pharmacy services, to include drug distribution and dispensing, drug information, drug therapy monitoring, patient education, and controlled substance regulation. Responsible for providing direct supervision of supportive personnel within the Department of Pharmacy. Actively participates in the creation of an environment that fosters patient, family, physician, and staff satisfaction. Ensures decisions made are based on the Mission and Values of ProMedica.

SCHEDULE

• Monday through Friday 8am -4:30pm
• on call rotation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: BS Pharm or PharmD

License: Current License within the state(s) of practice

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift light materials, frequent standing; occasional squatting, kneeling, walking, and stairs. Must be able to move about and between workstations.
