Job summary

EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, seeks an experienced Program Manager for IT/OT & Digitalization to drive the Lithium Gigafactory transformation. You will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and governance of OT/IT convergence across shop floor to enterprise systems.

Qualifications

7–10 years in IT/OT program management in high-tech or process manufacturing.
Proven delivery of large-scale OT and manufacturing systems: PLC/SCADA rollouts, historian and MES/MOM implementations.
Working knowledge of OT/IT convergence patterns (unified namespace, OPC UA, edge computing).
Industry 4.0 concepts such as IIoT, digital twins, and AI/ML for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Lead the IT/OT & Digitalization program for the Lithium Gigafactory from concept through commissioning and production ramp-up, ensuring alignment with business objectives, requirements, and timelines.
Develop and execute the OT and digital manufacturing roadmap aligned with Industry 4.0, leveraging IIoT, edge computing, digital twins, AI/ML, and automation.
Standardize PLC and DCS architectures, programming and data-acquisition standards to ensure connectivity-ready production assets.
Lead deployment and integration across the OT platform stack (PLC/DCS, SCADA/HMI, historians, MES/MOM).
Establish modern connectivity standards (OPC UA, MQTT) and a unified namespace.
Govern the manufacturing data strategy (time-series historization, dashboards, OEE/KPIs, predictive maintenance).
Define industrial networking, edge/compute, and storage requirements with IT Infrastructure.
Ensure cybersecurity alignment with corporate/industry standards (secure-by-design, segmentation).
Evaluate, select, and manage automation vendors and system integrators.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Enterprise IT, and cybersecurity teams.
Own budgets, plans, risks, and scheduling; drive continuous improvement.
