PDS Tech, Inc. is hiring an IT Operations Technician in Crawfordsville, IN. This on-site role provides frontline support for enterprise IT systems to keep employees connected and operations safe and efficient.

Qualifications include 1+ year in IT support, an IT-related associate degree or equivalent, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Certifications AZ-900, MD-102, and AZ-104 are required within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, chat, ticketing systems, and in-person support for onsite staff
• Support remote locations with timely and effective IT assistance
• Order, configure, deploy, and maintain IT equipment; manage returned, loaner, and surplus hardware
• Assist with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and licensing of software and applications
• Troubleshoot and maintain IT infrastructure including laptops, desktops, phones, printers, servers, conference room systems, access control, and network devices
• Create and support user accounts and group memberships
• Procure, configure, distribute, and troubleshoot mobile devices
• Participate in IT projects and perform additional duties as assigned
• Work a rotational on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends as required
• Uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards—safety is a top priority
• Must obtain AZ-900, MD-102, and AZ-104 within the first year

Location: Crawfordsville, IN (Work is onsite - MUST be local for consideration) | Schedule: 1st shift 8am to 5pm | Payrate: $30 - $35 (depending on experience)

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a top-tier manufacturing leader to hire an IT Operations Technician who thrives in hands-on, fast-paced environments. In this role, you’ll be the frontline support for enterprise-wide IT systems—ensuring employees stay connected, systems stay reliable, and operations run safely and efficiently.

Your work will directly support the technology backbone of a manufacturing organization where uptime, responsiveness, and safety truly matter.

What You’ll Do

As an IT Operations Technician, you’ll support users, systems, and infrastructure across the enterprise. Responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support to employees via phone, email, chat, ticketing systems, and in-person support for onsite staff

• Supporting remote locations with timely and effective IT assistance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and related applications

• Hands-on experience assembling, maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals

• Experience supporting networking equipment, conference room A/V systems, and security systems (cameras, badge access)

• Familiarity with workstation imaging tools and MDM solutions such as Intune

• Experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment

• Prior helpdesk or customer support experience

• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
