Job Description

CACI is seeking a motivated self-starter for an IT Operations position that configures and supports mission equipment for the Range, Communications, and Network segments of the U.S. Air Force Satellite Control Network (SCN). This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in configuration management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Configure mission equipment according to established build procedures aligned with SCN configurations.
2. Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, software, and test engineering teams to establish or refine system build procedures.
3. Work closely with site administrators to clarify configurations as needed.
4. Support the CSWS logistics process by providing location data, equipment details, and licensing guidance.
5. Assist in the Engineering Documentation Management process, including USAF Tech Order creation and updates.
6. Troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft application security patches.
7. Communicate effectively in various formats for customer briefings.
8. Support system installations and configurations at customer sites.
9. Participate in troubleshooting lab environment setups that mimic the AFSCN.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of IT fundamentals, including hardware, databases, storage, and networking.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and expand responsibilities.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• B.A./B.S. plus 3 years of relevant experience or 7 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140 Security+ Certification.
• Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.

Desired Skills:

• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
