Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Three years of experience in communication or computer systems technology.
• One year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Experience with data center infrastructure and WAN/LAN/MAN networks advised.
• Substitution of additional qualifying experience for education may apply.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical staff, contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Oversee daily operations of enterprise software, hardware, and communication systems including LAN/WAN networks, data centers, and security infrastructure.
• Plan and implement system upgrades, maintenance and cybersecurity protocols.
• Collaborate with City departments, outside agencies, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to executive management.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system functionality.
• Uphold ISD standards and ensure alignment with City IT strategies.
• Oversee two teams across city sites.
• Provide insight on budget planning and capital improvements.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
