Figure is an AI robotics company based in San Jose, CA, seeking an IT Operations Specialist to join the HQ IT team. You will provide on-site IT support across buildings, manage onboarding/offboarding, and ensure equipment inventory and security compliance.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of corporate IT support experience, proficiency with Linux, Windows, and Mac, and strong customer service and coordination skills. This role requires in-office collaboration five days a week.

Job description

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build.

We are looking for an IT Operations Specialist. In summary, you’ll work closely with the Information Technology team as a whole, help expand our HQ presence by providing IT support on-site and using remote tools as necessary amongst different buildings within HQ. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong professionalism in delivering excellent customer service, using sound judgment for timely problem resolution. They should understand office culture, maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, and possess 1+ years of IT Support experience with Linux, Windows, and Mac troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Document, track, and monitor customer problems to ensure resolution in a timely manner through common customer request methods (Ticketing Systems, Chat Software, Email, etc)
• Support Lifecycle in the Onboarding/Offboarding of Figure employees
• Maintain inventory of equipment and other IT assets and ensure compliance standards are followed
• Support common IT services: Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, security hardware, etc…
• Maintain relationships with vendors and cross-functional teams
• Be an advocate of knowledge sharing across IT and the company
• Provide AV Operational support in our conference room spaces and phone booths
• Provide event related support in conference rooms and large meeting rooms spaces
• Maintenance and upkeep of printer related requests

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience providing support in a corporate environment
• Linux, Mac, and Windows troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 PC hardware, Linux software troubleshooting, and Mac environment and hardware troubleshooting
• Network baseline knowledge such as network configurations, VPN provisioning and troubleshooting, etc…
• Proficiency in video conference (Google Meets/Zoom)
• CA Drivers License

Bonus Qualifications:

• Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, JIRA, and Zoom
• Experience with a ticketing support platform such as JIRA
• Extensive knowledge of Mac OS, iOS and Apple hardware, Windows 10/11, Linux Ubuntu versions
• Strong customer service, problem solving, and teamwork abilities
• Experience operating within a globally relevant, fast paced enterprise environment
• Detail-oriented and process-driven, specifically with regard to process and policy standard documenting
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
