Job summary

SemiAnalysis is seeking an IT Specialist to own and support our core IT infrastructure, ensuring secure, organized, and scalable operations across the firm. This hands-on role covers devices, software, access controls, and IT security in a fast-growing environment.

Based in the United States, you will partner with operations and leadership to maintain a reliable technology landscape, improve workflows, and document policies and SOPs for ongoing security and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of IT support or system administration experience.
• Hands-on management of laptops, software, user accounts, and assets.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Google Workspace.
• Understanding of MFA, endpoint security, and access governance.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage device procurement, configuration, and lifecycle for laptops and IT equipment.
• Onboard/offboard employees including account creation and access provisioning.
• Administer internal software, SaaS licenses, and user accounts.
• Maintain SharePoint environments and internal documentation repositories.
• Implement and maintain IT security controls and access reviews.
• Provide day-to-day IT support across hardware, software, and cloud platforms.
• Coordinate with vendors and external support partners.
• Develop IT policies, SOPs, and asset trackers.
• Identify opportunities to automate and scale IT workflows.
