Job summary

Zipliens is seeking an IT Operations Manager to own internal IT and security operations, reporting to the CTO. You will execute security policy, manage SaaS and device inventories, control access, and lead incident response and disaster recovery.

The role sits between IT and information security, translating policy into practical processes. You will drive AI tool adoption, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with data handling rules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations or systems administration with hands-on ownership.
• Experience responding to security incidents, not just training.
• Familiarity with security/compliance frameworks like SOC 2 or NIST CSF.
• Experience coordinating with outsourced/third-party vendors.
• Ability to drive adoption of new processes/tools across a company.
• Knowledge of identity and access management fundamentals (SSO, MFA).
• Experience with on-site roles and strong documentation/communication skills.
• Availability to work on-site at least three days per week in Franklin, TN.

Responsibilities

• Own Zipliens' IT operations and security execution; manage SaaS tools and devices; control access and vendor relations.
• Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Serve as SME on technology policies and ensure consistent policy adoption.
• Oversee IT provider relationships, tickets, renewals, and security monitoring.
• Drive AI tool rollout and adoption to improve internal IT/security processes.
