Job summary

Zipliens LLC is seeking an IT Operations Manager to own internal IT and security operations from policy to practice. The role sits between IT and information security, reporting to the CTO, and will lead access management, data governance, and vendor relationships while coordinating with the MSP/MDR provider.

This hands-on owner role requires driving security strategy execution, managing AI tool rollout, and ensuring incident response readiness. Franklin, TN onsite presence is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations or related roles with hands-on ownership.
• Experience responding to real security incidents.
• Familiarity with frameworks like SOC 2 or NIST CSF.
• Proven ability to drive adoption of new processes/tools across a company.
• On-site in Franklin, TN at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own IT operations and security execution, including access management and vendor relationships.
• Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning.
• Govern data handling, retention, and compliance with policies.
• Oversee relationship with IT provider and security monitoring service.
• Roll out approved AI tools and drive adoption.
