Job summary

Zipline, the world’s leading drone delivery company, is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, automate, and scale our core enterprise platforms. You will own identity and access management, SBaaS integrations, and cloud-based infrastructure while guiding security and automation initiatives.

You will lead the architecture across Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and IAM workflows, partnering with Security, Engineering, and Business teams to deliver scalable, reliable

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional IT experience.
• 5+ years managing enterprise infrastructure and SaaS platforms.
• Experience administering Okta and Google Workspace.
• Strong scripting in Python and Bash.
• Deep understanding of identity/auth standards: OAuth, SAML, SCIM, OIDC.
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Ability to mentor and coach other IT team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership and architecture for core IT platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack).
• Define architecture for scalable identity and access management.
• Define RBAC across systems and provisioning policies.
• Develop automation tooling using Python, Bash, APIs.
• Design and manage API-based integrations between enterprise systems.
• Monitor health, security, performance of critical IT systems.
• Lead troubleshooting for cross-system issues and root-cause analysis.
• Establish standards and documentation for cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Mentor IT staff and raise operational maturity.
