Job summary

Zipliens is seeking an IT Operations Manager to own internal IT and security operations, reporting to the CTO and coordinating with our Fractional CISO. This hands-on role spans SaaS, devices, access, data governance, and AI tool adoption.

You will lead incident response and disaster recovery while managing vendor relationships and security monitoring services. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT operations with proven incident response experience, a strong security mindset, and the ability

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations or IT management with hands-on decision ownership.
• Experience responding to security incidents and incident response leadership.
• Familiarity with security/compliance frameworks (SOC 2, NIST CSF).
• Ability to drive adoption of new processes and AI tools across the company.
• Strong documentation and communication, especially under incident pressure.
• Willingness to work on-site at least three days per week in Franklin, TN.

Responsibilities

• Own IT operations and security execution, managing SaaS and device inventories.
• Administer access control, provisioning, and periodic review.
• Lead data governance, retention schedules, and legal holds.
• Coordinate with MSP/MDR and vendors; manage security monitoring services.
• Drive AI tool rollout and adoption; optimize workflows.
• Serve as incident response lead and disaster recovery champion.
• Develop and enforce technology policies and training.
