The Role

The IT Operations Manager will oversee and optimize the company's IT infrastructure, supporting three offices—Charlestown, Stoughton, and Chelmsford—with minimal travel (about two to three times per month).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Manage IT infrastructure and eligibility systems, ensuring performance, maintenance, and upgrades.
  2. Serve as primary liaison with vendors, supporting staff with technical issues.
  3. Oversee daily operations of all technical systems, including networks, servers, and security.
  4. Collaborate with MSPs to ensure system integrity and security.
  5. Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze needs and implement solutions.
  6. Manage data file creation/distribution and ensure accurate data loading.
  7. Identify and implement system solutions, leading projects to improve operations.
  8. Stay current on emerging technologies; develop staff training programs.
  9. Act as HIPAA Data Security Officer, ensuring compliance.
  10. Manage access systems and liaise with vendors for troubleshooting.
  11. Generate reports for leadership using various tools.
  12. Manage IT assets inventory and oversee hardware/software installations.
  13. Handle business phone system issues with vendors.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in IT, CS, MIS, or related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years' experience in a technical role, preferably in healthcare, finance, or insurance.
  • Certifications like ITIL, PMP, CISSP (preferred).
  • Proficiency with data technologies (Excel, SQL, CSV, XML).
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and security.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience in project management and technical documentation.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships internally and externally.
