Job summary

Farm Credit East is seeking an IT Operations Manager to lead infrastructure, cloud, end user computing, and ITSM across its multi-state footprint. The role focuses on stability, security, and performance of enterprise technology, guiding modernization and ensuring compliant operations for lending and advisory services.

The position offers hybrid work after two weeks, with a strong emphasis on governance, incident prevention, and service quality improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud, end user computing & service delivery management.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS) in enterprise and hybrid environments.
• Experience with M365, O365, Teams, and Azure integrations.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI technologies to streamline IT operations and reduce incidents.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI technologies—automation, analytics, or intelligent assistants—to streamline IT operations.
• Hybrid work options after two weeks of employment with Farm Credit East.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead the Technology Support team to deliver high quality support across all locations.
• Partner with Information Security to maintain compliance with FFIEC, SOC, NIST, and internal audits.
• Govern patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, and configuration standards.
• Strengthen monitoring, observability, and proactive incident prevention.
• Lead the Technology Support team to deliver consistent, high quality support across Marketplace locations.
• Own ITSM processes: incident, problem, change request, Inventory Management and service catalog.
• Oversee SLA performance for vendors; build organization wide reporting on service performance.
