Job summary

Farm Credit East is seeking an IT Infra and Cloud Specialist to lead the Azure COE and manage hybrid cloud and on‑prem infrastructure. You will drive architectural guidance, cost optimization, governance, and incident response to support critical financial platforms.

The role requires 8+ years in IT infrastructure with Azure IaaS/PaaS expertise, strong collaboration with security and architecture teams, and a focus on reliability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in IT infrastructure/cloud/service delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS.
• Experience with hybrid/integrated on-premises data centers.
• Familiarity with IT service management and ticketing platforms (ServiceNow preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure COE design, implementation, and optimization.
• Provide architecture guidance for Azure IaaS/PaaS workloads.
• Drive hybrid infrastructure solutions and on-premise integration.
• Own post go-live operations, governance, monitoring, and SLA management.
• Execute design, build, deployment, and maintenance of cloud and data center platforms.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of infra services.
