Job summary

Alstom in Pittsburgh seeks a full-time onsite IS&T Operations professional. You will apply IT operations expertise to maintain site performance, track metrics, and ensure SLA compliance.

You’ll work with local management, support teams, and business partners to oversee regional hardware and site configurations. The role emphasizes incident and problem management, coordination during crises, validation of service requests, and collaboration across functions and countries.

Qualifications

  • Engineering or IT degree required.
  • Experience with IT operations and end-user support.
  • Knowledge of metrics and KPIs.
  • Familiarity with hardware management and site configurations.
  • Excellent communication with international teams.
  • Fluent English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Track, analyze, and report on on-site support metrics and KPIs.
  • Maintain site IS&T performance in compliance with SLAs.
  • Oversee management and tracking of regional hardware and site configurations.
  • Maintain operational partnership with strategic IT vendors and prioritize work.
  • Enforce compliance with QA plans and contractual service agreements.
  • Log, follow up, and escalate issues within operations teams as needed.
  • Lead incident and problem management protocols.
  • Coordinate with local management, support teams, and business partners during crises or major incidents.
  • Approve service requests in line with validation workflows.
  • Represent IS&T operations in site-level workshops and forums.

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your IT Operations expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and results-driven teammates.
You'll drive operational excellence by maintaining site IS&T performance, tracking key metrics, and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (local management, support teams, and business partners), oversee the management of regional hardware and configurations, and lead incident and problem management protocols, and much more."

We'll look to you for:

  • Overseeing management and tracking of regional hardware (PCs, printers, tablets, phones) and site configurations,

  • Leading incident and problem management protocols,
