Celtic Bank, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, seeks an IT Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, patching, and IAM (Okta) with a hands-on leadership approach. You will lead a team of systems engineers, coordinate incident and change management, and ensure uptime for core banking systems.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, risk management, and collaboration with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure teams. Hybrid onsite work with strong technical and leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or security fields.
• 5+ years in IT operations, systems engineering, or infrastructure support with leadership.
• Experience administering enterprise endpoint management (Tanium, Intune/SCCM, BigFix).
• Hands-on Okta IAM operations and ITSM platforms (Jira Service Management, ServiceNow).
• Experience with core banking systems, uptime, and change control.
• Knowledge of security, data classification, and regulatory requirements for financials.
• Proficient in PowerShell or Bash for automation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations and monitor core banking systems for performance and availability.
• Lead Tanium patch management, endpoint compliance, and vulnerability remediation; manage Okta IAM including SSO/MFA.
• Vision, staffing, and development of the operations team; manage workload and performance reviews.
• Own incident and change management for patching, identity, and banking system changes.
• Track operational KPIs, patch compliance, and SLA attainment for IT and business.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infra, and applications teams to remediate risks.
• Develop runbooks and documentation for patching, Okta, and core banking support.
• Support audits, risk assessments, DR/BCP planning for in-scope systems.
