Job summary
World Fuel is seeking an IT Operations Engineer II to maintain stability, performance, and availability of our enterprise technology environment in Webster, TX.
You will troubleshoot infrastructure issues, support operational excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable technology services to employees worldwide.
The role requires strong endpoints knowledge, ITIL discipline, and a customer-focused mindset to drive improvements in a fast-paced enterprise.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in IT operations, systems administration, or support.
- Experience in enterprise IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, change, problem).
- Experience with Windows and macOS endpoints in enterprise networks.
- Experience with IT service management tools like Jira or ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier-2 IT support across hybrid environments (Windows, macOS, mobile).
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and applications; manage incidents.
- Maintain documentation of incidents and resolutions.
- Support cloud, endpoint, server, and network technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve services.
