Job summary

ID.me is seeking an IT Engineer for the IT Operations team. You will own end-to-end integrations and automations that connect IT and business systems, ensuring high availability and reliable services for a ~1,000-person company.

You will work autonomously in a fast-moving environment, reverse-engineer systems, and ship pragmatic improvements while coordinating with security and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as IT/systems engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or equivalent.
• Strong API fluency and ability to read/write code in Python/Bash.
• Experience integrating and automating across SaaS platforms and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations and automations connecting IT and business systems.
• Administer core IT platforms and SaaS applications for reliability.
• Script and deploy solutions organization-wide (Python, Bash) and automate processes.
• Integrate systems via APIs and webhooks with authentication and retries.
• Troubleshoot IT systems and support escalations from IT Support.
• Implement high availability and monitor performance to remediate issues.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Identify improvements and deliver them proactively.
• Create documentation and runbooks for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with engineering, security, and compliance teams on governed solutions.
• Share knowledge with the IT Operations team and stakeholders.
