Job summary

ID.me is seeking an IT Engineer to join the IT Operations team. You will build integrations, automate IT workflows, and keep critical services highly available in a fast-moving environment.

You will work with security, compliance, and engineering teams while communicating clearly with stakeholders. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT/systems engineering, strong API and scripting skills, and experience with SaaS integrations and AI-driven automation.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years hands-on IT/systems engineering in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong API fluency (REST/JSON, OAuth, webhooks) and ability to read/write code in Python or Bash.
  • Experience integrating and automating across SaaS platforms and business systems.
  • Experience applying AI/LLM automation to reduce operational toil.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations linking IT and business systems to reduce manual work.
  • Configure and optimize core IT platforms and SaaS applications for reliability.
  • Script and deploy organization-wide solutions (Python, Bash); automate processes.
  • Integrate systems via APIs and webhooks with proper authentication and error handling.
  • Provide proactive monitoring, disaster recovery input, and runbooks for IT ops.
