Job summary

Audax Group in New York City is offering an IT Operations CO-OP from January to June 2027. The role serves as the first point of contact for daily IT tasks, including identifying root causes and resolving technology support requests with a personable approach.

The position requires current enrollment in a BS/BA program and strong written and verbal communication skills. The role involves in-office work five days a week and opportunities to learn across hardware and software support.

• Self-motivated, multi-tasking, with the ability to prioritize and perform a variety of concurrent tasks with limited direction.

Responsibilities

• Answer all service requests in a timely manner, set customer expectations around resolution times, and follow up to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
• Provide a consistently high-quality customer service experience by upholding established service standards.
• Assist in the deployment, maintenance, support, upgrade, and tracking of new and existing client technology assets, including desktops, laptops, phones, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
• Perform tasks associated with adds/moves/changes and the relocation of all IT-related assets during office/workspace moves.
• Serve as first point of contact for customer-facing support on: desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, applications, printers, networking, remote access, and telephony.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role of the IT Operations CO-OP is to act as the first point of contact in IT for daily operational tasks. In this role, youmay be asked toassistwith identifying root causes, resolving, andmonitoringall technology support requestsina timely, effective, and personable manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

COMPETENCIES:

• Basic to Intermediate Windows OS, macOS, and Apple iOS.
• Basic toIntermediate MS Outlook and MS Office 365.
• BasictoIntermediate hardware and software installation/deployment.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in a BS/BA program.
• Ability to deliver business-quality written and verbal communications and interact professionally with people at all levels of the organization.

TRAVEL: No regular travel isrequiredfor this role.

OTHER DUTIES:

For New York: The hourly range for this position is $28.00-$30.00. The hourly range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
