The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Finance or Analytics, with strong Excel, SQL/Snowflake, and data handling skills and a proactive, independent work style. 3–4 days in office, emphasis on data governance and reporting maturity.

Business Development
Audax Group is seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Data Analyst CO-OP to join the Business Development team. In this role, the co-op will partner closely with team members to design, build, and maintain data pipelines, support data quality and integrity initiatives, and contribute to the ongoing growth and enhancement of the firm’s data warehouse. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical foundation, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Support the design, maintenance, and scaling of the Audax CRM and broader data ecosystem by developing and enhancing reporting and analytical solutions
Perform data validation and data quality assessments to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems
Audit backend data warehouse and reporting models to identify, analyze, and clearly communicate data anomalies
Assist in the implementation of data governance practices, including data cataloging, documentation, and lineage tracking
Advanced in Excel
Proficiency in SQL and/or Snowflake
Familiarity with Power BI a plus
Familiarity with Salesforce a plus
Familiarity with Alteryx a plus
Leverages AI tools and LLMs to improve efficiency and analytics
Experience designing and implementing optimal data schemas a plus
Knowledge of/Experience with implementing best practices in data governance
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics or another related field
Previous internship or co-op experience in an analytical role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience manipulating large data sets, and cleaning/distilling these datasets
Excellent written and oral communication skills required
Ability to communicate in an efficient and meaningful way with all levels of the organization required
No regular travel is required for this role.
For Massachusetts: The hourly range for this position is $24.00-$28.00. The hourly range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
