Job summary

The Villages Community Development Districts is seeking an Information Technology Coordinator to provide essential operational and project support across the District’s technology environment. The role ensures device lifecycle management, software licensing, and secure IT practices while coordinating with a managed service provider.

You will maintain asset records, process purchase orders, and assist with vendor coordination and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of IT support or related technical role.
• Experience in a local government or public sector environment preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 environment including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and productivity applications.

Responsibilities

• IT Operations & Technical Support: be the IT support desk contact and assist with device enrollment, maintenance, and compliance monitoring through the MDM platform.
• Asset & Inventory Management: maintain records, track lifecycle, and manage purchase orders and invoices.
• Communication & Department Support: draft IT communications and coordinate with other departments.
• Additional: perform other duties as assigned, and support vendor coordination and project tracking.
