Job summary

Lutron Electronics Company, Inc. seeks a Systems Sales Engineer to join the Commercial Applications team at our Global Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. You will collaborate with IT, networking, and security teams to design, validate, and drive sales of advanced technology solutions.

You will serve as a technical resource, translating complex concepts for diverse audiences and delivering training to enhance sales and support capabilities. Travel at 10% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems Technology, MIS, or related field.
• Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA required.
• Minimum 5 years work experience in computer systems, programming language, operating systems, networking, and/or databases.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time, sometimes with little or no notice.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and no visa sponsorship needed now or in future.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams and customer IT/Networking/Security to lead technical solution design, validation, and sales success.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing system application expertise and solving complex customer challenges to remove sales barriers.
• Develop and deliver training that improves the ability of sales and support teams to discuss networking and cybersecurity topics with customers.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical language for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Continuously build knowledge across IT and building technology domains.
• Champion process improvements and develop innovative approaches to increase efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field of study
