Job summary

The Gowan Co. in Yuma, AZ is seeking a Network Technician to support and maintain our network, telephone systems, and cybersecurity measures. You will work with IT teams to ensure reliable operations and protect company data.

The role requires strong knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Microsoft 365 security, and endpoint protection, plus experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and email security. Travel occasionally may be required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, CS, or related field.
• Proficient with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux client OS.
• Experience managing On-Premises and Azure Active Directory.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security, Intune, and compliance.
• Networking expertise: DNS, DHCP, VPN, LDAP, and IPv4.
• Fluent in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Travel occasional.

Responsibilities

• Provide network infrastructure support and configuration management.
• Maintain telephone systems and collaboration applications.
• Monitor and improve network performance metrics.
• Protect data with endpoint security measures and cybersecurity practices.
• Perform security audits and support Office 365 security.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve issues.
• Occasional travel as required.
