UMC Health System is seeking an IT Network Engineer to establish and maintain network performance for all UMC network and equipment at the main hospital and campus locations in Texas.
The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco networks, VOIP, and network security, plus ITIL certification and a related field certification. You will collaborate with hospital leaders and TTUHSC network personnel and support a broad IT enterprise environment.

Job Summary: The IT Network Engineer is responsible for establishing and maintaining network performance for all UMC network and equipment at UMC main hospital and campus locations.
Interaction with other departments and relationships: This position has much interaction with various hospital department leaders, outlying clinics, and TTUHSC network personnel.
Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift PC and network peripherals, none to exceed 30 lbs. Ability to walk to all network communication centers within the UMC / TTUHSC buildings. Ability to drive to all remote network communication centers.
