Mission Brief

As an IT Network Administrator you will play a crucial role in maintaining, securing, and modernizing our network infrastructure. In this role, you will ensure high availability and seamless connectivity across our office, testing, and cloud environments, bridging physical network infrastructure with our software and data initiatives.

This is a hands-on engineering position for a versatile administrator who excels at multi-vendor network operations, 1st through 3rd-level support, and rapid outage recovery. You will work closely with system engineers, DevOps, and developers to build a resilient, automated, and high-performance network foundation.

Network Administration & Operations
  • Network Operations & Security: Ensure the reliable, high-availability, and secure operation of our global IT network environment.
  • Multi-Vendor Management: Install, configure, optimize, and maintain network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points) from various hardware vendors.
  • Performance & Monitoring: Actively monitor network stability, bandwidth, and traffic metrics to proactively prevent bottlenecks and ensure uptime.
Incident Resolution & Escalation
  • Multi-Tier Support: Provide comprehensive support for network and connected system environments across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-level escalation tiers.
  • Outage & Fault Recovery: Rapidly analyze, troubleshoot, and perform root-cause analysis (RCA) on network outages or faults to restore operative service promptly.
  • Process Improvement: Identify workflow bottlenecks, system inefficiencies, and operational friction to implement smarter, more automated support solutions.
Infrastructure Projects & Developer Support
  • Infrastructure Delivery: Actively participate in the design, planning, and execution of global IT infrastructure and connectivity projects.
  • Developer Enablement: Work alongside software engineering and data teams to ensure reliable network routing, cloud VPC connectivity, and low-latency environments for development pipelines.
What you´ll need to thrive...
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Network Administration, Systems Administration, or Network Engineering.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-vendor network environments and recovering complex infrastructure from outages.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in collaborative technical environments.
  • Networking & Protocols: Strong practical understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN segmentation, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and IPsec VPNs.
  • Hardware & Firewalls: Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless controllers across major vendors.
  • Monitoring & Diagnostics: Experience utilizing network monitoring tools (e.g., Checkmk, Grafana, Wireshark, or SNMP-based platforms) for traffic analysis and diagnostics.
  • Automation & Scripting (Conceptual): Solid conceptual understanding of Ansible, Terraform, Bash, or Python—ability to read, understand, run, and troubleshoot existing scripts and playbooks used for network automation and deployment.
  • Operating Systems: Familiarity with Linux (Debian/RHEL) and Windows network configuration and troubleshooting.
Nice to have...
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment (e.g., startup, scale-up, or rapidly growing enterprise).
  • Relevant Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA/CCNP), Juniper Networks Certified (JNCIA/JNCIS), or equivalent network engineering credentials.

Join a team where IT support is recognized as a critical service, user experience is a priority, and problem-solving is at the heart of everything we do.
We´re looking for specialists who are excited by ownership, motivated by technical excellence, and driven to deliver reliable support to users every day. Don´t worry if your experience doesn´t match every single qualification.
