Job summary

Isar Aerospace SE is seeking an MES Delivery Manager / Project Manager to translate an ambitious MES roadmap into actionable delivery plans and measurable impact on production.

You will coordinate across Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Global IT, and external partners to ensure on-time execution and value realization in digital manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing cross-functional projects within manufacturing, digitalization, MES, ERP, or enterprise system environments.
  • Ability to bring structure, transparency, and execution focus to complex environments.
  • Strong planning, scheduling, dependency, and risk management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to drive alignment and secure commitments from stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across multiple workstreams.
  • understanding of manufacturing processes and digital transformation challenges.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with proactive approach.
  • Ability to balance strategy with day-to-day execution requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Translate the MES roadmap into an executable delivery plan with clear outcomes, ownership, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Coordinate delivery activities across Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Global IT, and external partners.
  • Drive alignment between stakeholders and ensure required decisions, inputs, and commitments are provided timely.
  • Manage schedules, interdependencies, risks, resources, and deliverables across multiple MES workstreams.
  • Monitor progress against milestones and identify delivery challenges with mitigation actions.
  • Remove obstacles and elevate critical issues to maintain momentum and targets.
  • Facilitate structured communication and reporting across operations, technical, and leadership teams.
  • Support transition from process definition and system configuration through testing and deployment.
  • Ensure stakeholder engagement remains high throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for delivery improvement and business impact from MES capabilities.
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing to enable sustainable digital manufacturing transformation.
  • Support governance activities, including status reporting and risk reviews.

Turn an ambitious MES roadmap into real manufacturing impact. The MES Delivery Manager / Project Manager will create the alignment, structure, and momentum required to transform strategic manufacturing objectives into successful operational deployment.

Working across Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Global IT, and external partners, this role ensures that MES initiatives are translated into executable plans, delivered on schedule, and generate measurable value for production operations. The position acts as the central coordination point between business stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership to ensure successful execution of the MES roadmap.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

  • Translate the MES roadmap into an executable delivery plan with clear outcomes, ownership, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Coordinate delivery activities across Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Global IT, and external implementation partners.
  • Drive alignment between stakeholders and ensure required decisions, inputs, and commitments are provided in a timely manner.
  • Manage project schedules, interdependencies, risks, resource requirements, and deliverables across multiple parallel MES workstreams.
  • Monitor progress against key milestones and proactively identify delivery challenges and mitigation actions.
  • Remove obstacles and elevate critical issues where necessary to maintain project momentum and delivery targets.
  • Facilitate structured communication and reporting across operational, technical, and leadership organizations.
  • Support the transition from process definition and system configuration through testing, implementation, and operational release.
  • Ensure stakeholders remain engaged and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for delivery improvement, process optimization, and increased business impact from MES capabilities.
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across functions to enable sustainable digital manufacturing transformation.
  • Support program governance activities, including status reporting, risk reviews, and executive-level updates.
