Job summary

Stryker in Redmond, WA seeks an IT Manufacturing/EPLO Technician to provide onsite support and escalation for regional Manufacturing/EPLO/GQO systems, aligned with IT Business Partners.

The role ensures robust support with defined business/IT ownership, integrates new systems per Industry 4 standards, and delivers Level 2 support for desktops, OS, antivirus, and applications while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Computer Information Systems, or equivalent preferred.
• Qualification/Certification in Industry 4 and IT Technologies e.g. Microsoft or equivalent an advantage
• At least 2 years of experience in the field or related area

Responsibilities

• Provide Level2 support related to Manufacturing/EPLO/GQO issues for desktop, operating systems, antivirus and application software, development changes as required and ensure issues are resolved and documented.
• Develop knowledge base articles on common issues with a focus on shift left activities.
• Support the adoption of enterprise systems across Stryker, minimizing reliance on point or plant specific solutions.
• Collaborate with IT Business Partners and regional teams to align with Industry 4 standards and global IT projects.

The ITManufacturing/EPLOTechnicianwillprovide onsite support and escalation forenterprisesolutions acrosstheregionin theManufacturing/EPLO/GQOareain alignment with ITBusiness Partners,and support business strategy andobjectivesin collaboration with Global IT.

The person will be accountableforprovidinga robust support structure forManufacturing/EPLO/GQO systemsin the regionand collaborate with others to ensure systems are running a standard OS, have a defined business and IT owner, andnewManufacturing/EPLO/GQOsystems areintegrated inalignmentwithIndustry 4 standards.

The role requires excellence in customer service skillsand the capability to buildstrong collaborative relationshipsensuring that theday to dayneeds of the business are met ina timelymanner. The roleisrequiredto provide guidance and escalationtovarious business teams including Advance Operations, Engineering and R&D, with specific focuson hardware & softwaresupport.

• Activelyparticipatein securing andcontainingthe manufacturingenvironment.
• ProvideLevel2supportrelated toManufacturing/EPLO/GQOissues, for desktop, operating systems, antivirus and application software,development changes asrequiredand ensure technical issues are resolved and solutions are properly documented.
• Develop knowledge base articleson common issuesand day to day support,with a focus on shift left activities where possible.
• Have agoodunderstanding of Machine level integration as it applies to Shop Floor systems integration with the business layer. Provide guidance to business and IT teams and contribute todevelopmentof standards to be adopted by business and IT.
• Work on approved Global IT Projects, ensuring integration of all new manufacturing systems are in line with Global ITandIndustry 4 standards.
• Recommend business processesand implement system changesthatimprove efficiency, cost savingsand businessoutcomes.
• Supportthe adoption ofenterprisesystems across Stryker, minimizing reliance on point or plant specific solutions.
• Contribute todiscussions onManufacturing/EPLO/GQObusiness projects related to IThardware,connectivity &software
• Support thedelivery teamswith adherence to Strykerpatching,anti-virus,firewallandsecurity standardsonshopfloor.
• Promote andincreaseawarenessand adoptionof industry4.0standardsacrossGlobal IT Operations and processes.
• Responsible for contributing to process execution across all operational processes (e.g., incident, problem, change, configuration, asset etc.) related to the service.

Education & special trainings:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Computer Information Systems, or equivalent preferred.
• Qualification/Certification inIndustry 4 andIT Technologiese.g.Microsoft or equivalentan advantage

Qualifications & experience:

• At least2years of experience in the field or in a related arearequired.
